TIFS 2011 Catxmas on the Beach Additional Information

Vital Show Information
Entry fees: Early Bird Special: 3 entries (same owner) in two full cages for $275.00 Early bird Deadline: November 1, 2011 at midnight Regular Rates (after November 1, 2011): $95.00 first entry, $90.00 second entry, $85.00 subsequent entries. Entries close at 10:00 PM on the December 5, 2011 or when 250 entries are received. No late entries. See Summary Sheet for other fees. Your can entry either by mail or used our online entry form at :Entry Form. Online entries payment must be received within 10 days of submitting the entry.
Check In: Friday check in at 1:00-2:30pm. Show will starts at 3:00 pm. on Friday. Saturday check in 8:30 - 9:45am and Sunday check in at 7:30 - 8:45 am. Show starts promptly at 10:00am on Saturday and promptly at 9:00am on Sunday. The show hours on Saturday is from 10:00am to 6:00pm and on Sunday form 9:00am to 5:00pm.
Payment: We accept cash ,checks, money order, and MasterCard and Visa credit card payments on-line through PayPal. Please use this email address TIFSCC@AOL.com. All payments are due prior to Check-In unless previous arrangements have been made with the Show Manager. Fee for NSF checks is $50.00 payable by certified check or money order. NSF checks and fees owed due to failure to bench will be reported to TICA in accordance with Show Rule 24.4.
Hotel: The show hotel is the The Omni Bayfront, located at 900 North Shoreline Blvd., Corpus Christi, Texas 78401 Phone: (361) 887-1600, Fax: (361) 887-6715. The club has arranged a rate of $79.00 for rooms per night with NO Pet Deposit. When making the reservation please tell them that you are with the International Feline Showcase Cat Club.

Exhibitor Information
Benching: One adult or two kittens allowed per single cage space. Each entry will be provided with one cage space which measures 22"H X 22"D X 27"W. Extra half cages may be obtained for $25.00 and will convert the cage to 22"H X 22"D X 54" W. Cages should be covered on sides, back and top.
Note: Exhibitors providing their own cage(s) are required to purchase an extra half cage for each cage used.
Photographer: We have gotten Helmi again this year.
For Sale Cages: For Sale Cages (double cage) will be available to exhibitors only on a limited basis.
For Sale Cats/Kittens: You must submit an entry form for each “For Sale” entry...mark the entry FOR SALE across the top of the form. Use the Litter Registration number if there is no individual registration. There is no charge for “For Sale” entries, but you must provide the appropriate caging. 2 cats or 4 kittens allowed per double cage.
Services: Litter will be provided. Please bring your own litter pans, cat food and food bowls. People food will be available from the concession in the show hall. No outside food may be brought in.

Clerk and Steward Information

Clerks: Please indicate on the Summary Form if you will be available to clerk and who you would like to clerk for. Ring clerks will be paid $35.00 per day, provided lunch and a fully marked catalog. Ring clerks will be assigned based on their requested when entries have closed. Clerking assignments are not guarantees but the club will try to comply with the individuals request. DO NOT DEDUCT CLERKING FEES FROM ENTRY FEES. Compensation will be made at the end of the show.

Stewards: Please indicate on the Summary Form if you will be available to steward and who you would like to steward for. Stewards will be compensated $15.00 per day and provided lunch. Stewards will be assigned based on their requested when entries have closed. Stewarding assignments are not guarantees but the club will try to comply with the individuals request. Compensation will be made at the end of the show.

Vendor Information
Vendors: Limited booth space will be available. Please complete the Vending Information and submit it to the vending coordinator.

General Information
Awards: Ribbons and rosettes will be awarded in accordance with TICA Show Rules. trophies and prizes will be given where donated.
Health Requirements: This is a non-vetted show: All cats must be in good health. Cats showing signs of ear mites, fungus, or any illness will not be permitted in the show hall. All entries should be immunized against feline rhinotracheitis, calicivrus and feline enteritis and should test negative for feline leukemia and feline AIDS. Any cat which is obviously pregnant or lactating will be disqualified. All claws (front and back) must be clipped prior to judging. The state of Texas requires Rabies vaccinations. Please be prepared to show proof of vaccination if asked.
Registration: With the exception of Korats, registration with TICA is not necessary to compete in the cat's first show. Registration IS required for subsequent shows and for confirmation of titles and scoring for TICA regional and international awards.
Household pets: HHPs over the age of eight (8) months of age must be neutered. HHPs are judged in 10 divisions. If you are unsure of your cat's color or division, please send a color photo of your cat with your entry.
Show Rules: by entering, all exhibitors agree to abide by all TICA Show Rules, and the decisions of the judges and show committee. Show Rules may be obtained from TICA, P.O. box 2684, Harlingen, TX 78551.
Liability: TIFS Cat Club cannot be held responsible for injury, loss or damage to cats, exhibitors or personal property of exhibitors or vendors or other such persons or property in attendance..
This will be a NON-SMOKING show hall. There will be a designated area for smokers.
